Kerri Murray

President, ShelterBox USA

Kerri Murray serves as President of the global humanitarian relief organization, ShelterBox USA, a non-profit that provides emergency shelter and essential supplies to people displaced by crisis. Since 2009, Kerri has dedicated her life to helping refugees and people made homeless by disasters, often serving on the front lines of the world’s worst disaster and conflict situations, including the war in Ukraine. Under her leadership, ShelterBox has significantly expanded its humanitarian work, including in conflict zones, which resulted in ShelterBox being twice nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Before working in nonprofits, Kerri spent 13 years as a healthcare leader at GlaxoSmithKline, working in the U.S. and Europe on vaccines, women’s health, anti-infectives, and cardiovascular disease. Kerri is a member of the Montecito Rotary Club and served for six years as Board President for GIRLS ROCK, a nonprofit that empowers and builds self-esteem in young girls through music education. Kerri has been a champion for human rights and advocating for the most vulnerable. She was recognized in 2024 with the Martin Luther King Jr. Vision Award for her commitment to service to others from her alma mater, Providence College.
