DGE 7255 Rose Quaranta
Rose Quaranta is currently District 7255 Governor Elect and will serve as District Governor in 2026-27.
She has recently retired from education as a teaching assistant for 22 years.
She has been happily married to PDG Arnie Quaranta for 40 years, and together they have three children, all of whom are Rotarians in Rotary District 7255.
Her Rotary journey started in 2010 as a member of The Ronkonkoma Rotary Club, where she has had the honor to serve as Secretary for two years and President for one year. She also served as the Rotarian liaison for the Connetquot Interact Club for three years.
Rose is also very involved at the district level. She has served as the overall Youth Exchange Program Chair, the Rotary Friendship Exchange Co-chair, the Youth Services Chair, and the District Secretary. She is currently the Short-Term Youth Exchange Chair
She is also proud to represent her district at the Zone Level, serving as the overall registrar for the Mid Northeast Presidents Elect Learning Seminar.
Her membership in Rotary has also opened up many international opportunities, allowing her to travel and serve across the globe. Rose has traveled to India twice and participated in two National Immunization Days, where she administered polio vaccinations to young children alongside Rotarians from around the world. She
has also travelled to Southwest Delhi, participating in a water project, helping to build a check dam to prevent harmful erosion in the local community.
Rose and her family have also hosted dozens of Youth Exchange students and Friendship Exchange Rotarians throughout the years, hosting people from Germany, Hungary, Italy, India, Australia, Nigeria, and South Africa.
