Rotary Opens Opportunities!PDG Jacquelyn Rose Yonick, Jax, has been a Rotarian for the past 2 decades in District 7255 - Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau & Suffolk Counties.
Past RYLA Chair, current District Learning Leader, Zone AG Coordinator and MidNortheast PELS General Chair, Jax loves experiences of learning and leading.
Professionally, she is the Senior Youth Employment Coordinator, working with teens, who manage the snack stands at the sports fields, intern with various City of Glen Cove departments, and run a community garden of edibles and natives. She runs learning sessions on resume writing, interviewing success, goal setting, communication and World of Work. She has been collaborating with City agencies and CBOs since 2002.
Jax loves being active and exploring the outdoors with Matti Moo Moo, leisure reading, yoga, and cooking, especially with Rob, her significant other of 10 years, on Sunday Football day!
