Kalpana Patel is with the Rotary Club of Robbinsville Hamilton Club, where Kalpana has served in various leadership roles, including membership chair (2021-2022), Foundation Chair (2020-2022, 2023-2026). She served as Club President in 2022-2023, leading the club through a successful 30th Anniversary year. As Club President, she has initiated a few legacy projects, including a green initiative to plant two trees every year locally, a program (Early Act) to introduce elementary age children in Title 1 schools to the value of service and leadership. She created a community partnership event that started as a Women’s Empowerment Fair, now grown to be a well-received Non-Profit Summit.As District Learning Leader for 2024 and 2025, working closely with the DG leadership chain to bring Pre-PELS and District Learning Assembly for presidents-elect and club leaders, and coordinated other interim learning sessions throughout the year. She has served as a district representative on the multi-district PELS Committee, and facilitated PELS learning sessions for both years. In 2024, she also served as the Chair of the Annual Giving and EREY Foundation sub-committee. Additionally, Kalpana has served as an Assistant/Area Governor during the years 2023-2025.
Kalpana is a Paul Harris Society member and a Paul Harris Fellow +5.
Besides Rotary, Kalpana has served in various non-profit leadership roles, including serving as Board President for Mid-NJ Association for Talent Development, Development Co-Chair at the Young Audiences of NJ and Eastern Pennsylvania, and currently serves on the Development Board Committee and Co-Chair of Humanities Committee at Grounds for Sculpture.
She is a certified leadership trainer and coach and has been a keynote speaker at non-profit events such as Project Management Institute of NJ Annual Symposium, National Association of Women Business Owners Membership Event, and board retreat, to name a few.
Professionally, Kalpana is a retired successful technology executive, with an enriched breadth of industry verticals including Telecommunications, Global Banking, Cyber-Security and Educational Assessment. She is now retired and lives in Princeton Junction with her husband of 47 years, Raj, who is a practicing physician.
